Terms & Conditions

 

Please ensure that you have read and understood the terms and conditions below. 

These terms and conditions form the agreement between you and Haley Marie Makeup Artist.

By making a booking with Haley Marie, you are bound by these terms and you agree to the following:

 

The Bridal Preview 

A mutually convenient time for the preview will be arranged between the parties. It may occasionally be necessary to change the date of a preview that has already been agreed and every attempt will be made to accommodate another date that is convenient.

Haley Marie will ensure that a detailed record of all products used in the preview are recorded for her own personal use.

 

The Booking

No agreement for the Bridal makeup shall be entered into unless all of the following requirements have been satisfied:

• A £150 deposit has been received by bank transfer.

• All invoices are subject to change if additional services are required.

• All deposits are payable at the time of booking.

 

Application of products

It is your responsibility to notify Haley Marie of any health complaint, skin complaint or sensitivity to any part of your face or body that you are aware of at any time that the application of any products is due to commence. It is also your responsibility to ensure that any member of your party requiring makeup services by Haley Marie have notification of the same.

Haley Marie reserves the right to refuse to apply any products to any person whom she suspects of suffering from a health or skin complaint or sensitivity.

It is your responsibility to notify Haley Marie of any known allergies or sensitivities to any cosmetic brand. This includes all members of your party who are receiving make-up/cosmetic application.

 

Payments

A £150 non-refundable deposit is payable when you book which secures your date and covers all administrative costs.

Payment for the bridal preview is payable in advance of the appointment. This is a £150 and will be deducted from the total balance. The remaining balance will be due 8 weeks prior to your wedding day by bank transfer.

Any additional services/treatments are to be paid for in full at the time of booking.

Cancellations

You reserve the right to cancel your wedding day makeup at any point prior to your wedding day. Please note that the following charges will apply:

• Your deposit is non-refundable unless Haley Marie has to cancel.

• If within 12 week of your wedding date the full balance will be due.

• If you decide to move your wedding date for any reason you will loose your deposit and an updated quote will be issued for your new date subject to availability. If you move your date within 12 weeks of your wedding day you will owe the full balance in full. Please make sure I’m available before you confirm your new date. If I’m not consulted and your date is moved to a new date you may owe your full amount if it’s 12 weeks or less before the original date.

• Once you have agreed to these terms and conditions and your deposit is paid you cannot reduce the number of people in you booking as per the original quote and accepted booking. Haley Marie is more than happy to discuss additional persons, subject to availability on the day.

 

Specific Terms

• My prices are based on working at one venue, If it is necessary for me to relocate from one venue to another an additional fee will apply.

• It is assumed that there is free parking available within 100 meters of the venue where you are getting ready. Should parking charges be applicable Haley Marie reserves the right to re-charge these to you.

• As a professional bridal makeup artist, I strive to provide the highest quality service for your special day. In order to ensure the best results and create a comfortable environment, I kindly ask that the following terms and conditions be adhered to:

 

• • Bright, Natural Light Area: A well-lit, naturally bright area is required for the makeup application. If possible, please ensure the space has access to natural light, as it allows for optimal application and the most flattering results. If natural light is not available, a bright, well-lit area with artificial lighting may be used, provided that the lighting is adequate for the makeup application.

  • Table: A small table made available to layout products and equipment so I can work quickly and as efficiently as possible on the day. 

  • Water Provision: Please ensure that water is readily available for myself. Hydration is important during the service to maintain energy and focus, and it also helps with the overall comfort during the application process.

  • Arrival and Setup: I will arrive at the agreed-upon time to set up for your makeup service. Please ensure the area is ready and free of distractions to ensure a smooth and timely service.

  • Liability: While I take all necessary precautions, It is expected that Haley Marie is provided with bottled water as a minimum upon arrival for the duration of her work with you and your bridal party.

 

Cancellations by Haley Marie Makeup Artist

In the unlikely event that Haley Marie is unable to attend your booking due to sickness, injury, personal emergency or any other circumstance beyond her control, she will endeavour to find a replacement makeup artists of a similar standard. This cannot, however, be guaranteed. If Haley Marie is unable to find a replacement makeup artist, you will receive a full refund of monies paid within an agreed time frame that’s reasonable for Haley Marie, less the trial cost.

 

Force Majeure
Haley Marie is not responsible for any cancellations due to force majeure. This is including but not limited to, fire, flood, weather, illness, death, epidemic, pandemic.
The client is strongly advised to take out wedding insurance to cover against such situations. 

 

Timings

At the preview, Haley Marie will agree with you a time to arrive and a time to leave on the wedding day. Inevitably proceedings often run late and an allowance will be built into the agreed timings. Should Haley Marie be required to run over those timings due to lateness on the part of any of the bridal party or any other factor not of Haley Marie’s making, then a payment of £10 per half hour will be payable.

 

Mileage

Mileage is charged at 50p per mile each way from LE14 

 

Photography

Haley Marie will take pictures and or videos on the wedding day of your makeup. These pictures may or may not be used on Haley Marie’s website www.haleymariemakeupartist.co.uk , as part of a show reel which may or may not be used on social media or any other marketing or social channel. By signing these terms and conditions you are confirming that you have no objection to your photos being used in this way. If you object to your pictures being used, please inform Haley Marie accordingly.

 

Limitation of liability

Haley Marie Makeup Artist is not an insurer or a guarantor and disclaims all liability in such capacity. If you are seeking a guarantee against cancellation, loss or damage you should obtain appropriate insurance.

All services are conducted on the basis of the information, documents and/or photographs provided by you. Services are for the benefit of you and anyone who you choose to provide services for under this contract.

Haley Marie is not liable to you or any third party for any actions or omissions outside the remit of the service supplied. Nor is she liable for any problems arising as a result of unclear, erroneous, incomplete, misleading or false information supplied.

Haley Marie is not liable for any delayed, partial or total non-performance of the services arising directly or indirectly from any event outside her control including your failure to comply with any of your obligations.

Haley Marie’s liability in respect of any claim for loss, damage or expense of any nature, shall in no circumstances exceed the costs of services she has been contracted to provide.

If any one or more provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Service are found to be illegal or unenforceable in any respect, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired by this.

It is my full responsibility to make sure that all members of my bridal party abide by the terms and conditions contained in this document.

If you require a print out of these conditions please let me know; otherwise an email with your confIrmation of consent or filling out the consent box below is sufficient. Please make sure your details are correct. If you have any queries or wish to make any amendments to these terms before work commences, you must inform me/request these before you accept the terms. 

 

 

These terms and conditions can be updated at any time. These terms and conditions were last updated 02/03/2025
